Alex Dow is a Certified Farrier with the American Farrier's Association.  
He graduated with honours from the Seneca College Farrier Program in 1992, and has trained and worked with some of the best farriers in the industry, including Denis Leveillard of France.

Alex specializes in shoeing dressage and sport horses, and provides experienced, professional hoof care for equines of all breeds and disciplines.
He is an enthusiastic horseman - together with his wife, Suzanne, and son, William,  Alex operates First Field Farm near Flesherton, ON, where the family produces top quality eventers and field hunters.  
Alex is the former huntsman for the Bethany Hills Frontenac Hunt, and continues to enjoy fox hunting with his trusty mount, Pokey.

Servicing the Greater Toronto area, including Caledon, Orangeville, Grey County east and Collingwood/Meaford/Owen Sound .
